OK - we've recently had a bit of a set back and the site has been seriously corrupted.  I've started the process of rebuilding and hope everything will be back in order within a month or so (before end of June 2007).

I apologise for the disruption - and hope I can rely on your understanding.  Any offers of assistance are appreciated.

Currently you will need to re-register on the site.

Cheers

ABOUT THE DRAMAPLAYSHOP

Emerging from the Special Interest Group on Drama and New Media Forms convened in Norway during IDEA2001 and continuing through to Ottawa during IDEA2004 and focussed on a range of projects and explorations to be recapped and reviewed in Hong Kong for IDEA2007.  This group was originally convened in 2001 by Kim Flintoff (Australia),  Klaus Thestrup (Denmark) and Liliana Galvan (Peru).  In 2004 the group chairs were Kim Flintoff (Australia),  Klaus Thestrup (Denmark) and Alistair Martin-Smith (UK).

The DramaPlayShop (incorporating sig7.org) is an online community of Drama educators exploring the nexus between Drama and IT. A network of international researchers will be put in place to design, implement and publish research around this virtual drama project. It is anticipated that a range of research methodologies and topics could be adopted - from practice led research studies undertaken by participating teacher/researchers to more theoretical enquiries around cyber culture and online pedagogy. (from the proposal for an international project by members of SIG7 - Brad Haseman (Aus), John Carroll (Aus), Mary Mooney (Aus), Ken Taylor(UK)

If you have an interest in Drama and Computers then this site will eventually have a lot to offer.  To stay in touch with the ideas and the development of this site you might wish to join the Dramanite egroup.
